I would like to apply for membership within the Bitcoin Unlimited organisation. I bring a background of business development, organisational and marketing strategy spanning over 10 years. I seek to support the long-term growth and sustainability of Nexa. My contributions as part of the BU/Nexa team since I joined now a year ago, have spanned across ecosystem expansion, marketing, organisational structuring, product strategy, and developer relations.
Some of my key achievements so far during my time with BU and Nexa:
- I secured Nexa’s presence alongside industry leaders such as Trust Wallet, 1inch, and Litecoin at our first large scale crypto event in November last year.
- In my role as head of Ecosystem and B2B Development, I have initiated the B2B onboarding process for enterprises, positioning Nexa as a viable blockchain solution for industry adoption.
- I led the brand refresh for Nexa in April 2024 and oversaw the initial website rebuild alongside the development team.
- I proposed a new organisational marketing framework in September, for optimising internal operations, and have since implemented an ecosystem matrix, a critical tool for admin and strategic alignment, as well as a new reporting system for exchange data.
- I coordinated Nexa’s first global press rollout, strengthening its market presence and visibility ahead of AusCryptoCon, this reflected in trading volume and brand presence.
- I am currently working on establishing new lead-generation pipelines and partner lead nurture channels, also building out our funnel which includes website updates and ecosystem engagement strategies.
Nexa is at a pivotal stage where strategic foresight, structured developer relations (DevRel), and high-level business development are essential for scaling the ecosystem and global positioning. My experience in blockchain and crypto business development, decentralised organisational structures, and operational efficiency will help to ensure that Nexa’s long-term success is built on robust and stable infrastructure, with clear go-to-market strategies, and strong, sensible business partnerships.
With experience in scaling and positioning blockchain projects, I bring business proficiency to my role in ecosystem development. My background in event and growth marketing - spanning global conferences with 45,000+ attendees, sponsorship management, media and PR, and campaign execution - enables me to identify key strategies that will allow us to drive large-scale adoption.
As I continue expanding my technical expertise - now actively learning Nexa’s smart contract language NexScript - I aim to bridge the gap between business growth strategy and technical execution. This will allow me to support ecosystem projects through sound solution architecture, ensuring that developers and businesses can seamlessly integrate with Nexa’s blockchain.
