At Bitcoin Unlimited, the term of each elected officer is two years, hence the position for Secretary is due for a vote as the current term began on 11 October 2020.
Bitcoin Unlimited Articles of Federation: 2(II) “Officer term is for two years.”
This term limit is in the B.U. Inc Articles of Association which now applies.
Candidates for this position must raise a BUIP putting their name forward for membership vote, commencing 15 September 2022 and run for 5 days.
