BUIP209 B.U. Long-term Mission Focus on NEXA

Background
This BUIP is requesting a Bitcoin Unlimited (BU) membership decision to formalise the organisation’s long-term focus for development and marketing from 2024 to 2033 inclusive.
It is over 3 years since BUIP166 which authorised work on the Nexa cryptocurrency, and over 2 years since the launch of Nexa, when its genesis block was mined. During that time, B.U. has continued to provide compatible full-node software for the BCH network.
Motivation
Considering the change of focus of B.U. Incorporated over the last 3 years, it is time to officially define the long-term focus and support concerning both Nexa and BCH.
NEXA - this is the organization’s prime focus and all members of the team are working to develop the full node or ecosystem software, or attempting to grow organic usage through marketing strategies.
BCH - this is a highly mature blockchain with dozens of exchanges and hundreds of people involved in its ecosystem and much organic usage already. While B.U.'s support was extremely important in the first few years. from launch in August 2017, such support is is arguably not required today.
This BUIP does not automatically mandate an end to all support for BCH.
Proposal
This BUIP proposes two items:

Work and support for the NEXA cryptocurrency becomes the sole focus for the B.U. organisation, at least until the end of 2033.

Work and support for the BCH cryptocurrency is officially discontinued.
However, this may cause an issue for BCH users (such as loss of compatibility with the annual hard-forks). Therefore, any willing, competent BCH full node developer, with an appropriate track record, may apply to the B.U. Lead Developer to become maintainer for the BCH_unlimited BCH repository on Gitlab. He may then merge relevant patches for continued full node compatibility.
The B.U. Lead developer may decide to grant the above, at his discretion. He will communicate his decision(s) to the B.U. team and other interested parties.
Budget
No specific budget is required for this statement of Long-term Mission Focus.
